Topps Allen & Ginter

It's here - the latest Allen & Ginter offering from Topps. Joinging the box break of this fine product is SCD editor T.S. O'Connell, a big fan of the vintage-style cards. Let's get down and dirty:

Today's Feature: Topps Allen & Ginter
  • 8 cards/pack
  • 24 packs/box ($75)

There's a lot going on with this set, from autograph and relic cards to N43 box toppers and more insert cards that you can imagine - Minis, World Leaders, Dick Perez Originals, etc.

We busted open a box with plenty of good material, at least in the variety of content. There's too much to break down by insert/specialty, so we'll just showcase the relic cards, black borders and let the video do the rest of the explaining,

Any idea on a list of the short prints on this product? Also how about a break on the Goudeys and a shortprint list for those also? Thanks ,Brett

TOPPS CONFIRMS 08 ALLEN & GINTER SHORT PRINTS
 
Topps confirms that there are several short printed autographed cards, relic cards and base cards (image attached) in the recently-released 2008 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball.  In addition there are RED INK autograph variations limited to just 10 copies each.  The subjects and quantities are as follows.

$75 for a box of TA&G? Where did you find a box that cheap?

Harris you should know the answer to that question .Depends on who you know....At least at that price you get 24 packs unlike the UD Goudey which is now a box of 18 compared to last years 24 pack box for the same price.What happened to the 6 other packs to big to fit in the box? Brett

How did you guys get 4 relic cards in a box when I got only 1 jersey card & 1 silk card in my box.
